Mile Creek Animal Hospital opened in April 2011 at 4265 St. Rte. 66 Minster, Ohio, with the latest technology and a staff of 3 to care for small animals. Veterinarian Leslie Winner, with more than 16 years experience, is operating the clinic with assistance from Heather Haines, practice manager with 13 years experience, and Sarah Kittle, veterinarian technician with 7 years experience. Dr. Winner obtained her bachelor's degree and doctor of veterinary medicine from The Ohio State University and has previously practiced at Celina Animal Hospital. Mile Creek Animal Hospital features two examination rooms with an easy to use weight scale. During surgery, a machine monitors anesthesia. The post-operative kennels include four with heated bottoms and one with oxygen for respiratory cases. The facility has space to hold 8-15 animals and will eventually also have a fenced outdoor exercise space. Mile Creek also has a state of the art Digital X-Ray machine, which makes it easier to take great pictures of wiggling animals, and a dental machine for teeth cleaning. The clinic offers pickup and delivery of pets needing medical services.
